1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using HookBug (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

HookBug provides webhook capture, forwarding, inspection, and replay services. We act as a transparent proxy between webhook providers and your application endpoints.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
Use the Service to transmit malicious content or interfere with other users
Exceed your plan's usage limits through automated means
Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

5. Data Handling

Webhook payloads passing through our Service are temporarily stored according to your plan's retention period. We do not access, analyze, or share the content of your webhook payloads except as necessary to provide the Service.

6. Payment & Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time, and your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for any damages resulting from service interruptions or data loss.

8. Limitation of Liability

HookBug is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
